Custom mast sections optimised for low drag and high ventilation resistance.
At 12.7% t/C this is skinny compared to most wingfoil masts but slightly thicker than a kite race foil to give increased stiffness better suited to the larger area and higher AR wings typical for wing and down-winding disciplines.
Progressive tapered planform balances reduced wetted area and drag when flying high with high stiffness in upper sections for control.
The clean top plate detailing reduces drag in take off.
Construction is iInfused UHM carbon with proprietary laminate schedule to optimise bending and torsional stiffness.
